Who We Are
Our club promotes general aviation, freedom and pleasure to fly by providing its members with a friendly and fun aviation-oriented environment and encouraging them to remain active in the flying community.
The club actively supports regional flying activities. The club also supports the local Grande Prairie community though events such as Discover Aviation where children are given their first taste of flight in a small airplane.
The Snowbird 8 Memorial Project
The Snowbird 8 Memorial Project is a community effort to honor Captain Gordon De Jong, who tragically lost his life during a Snowbirds performance in Grande Prairie in 1978. Centered at the Grande Prairie Airport, the memorial will celebrate his legacy and the remarkable spirit of the Snowbirds.
